Refund of Fees:
The procedure for refunding fees typically involves the following steps:
1. Excess Advance Payment: If the advance payment made by the parties exceeds the actual
costs of the arbitration, the institution will typically refund the excess amount to the parties.
2. Request for Refund: Parties who are entitled to a refund (e.g., due to overpayment) can
formally request a refund from the arbitration institution. This request is usually submitted
in writing and may require specific documentation.
3. Review and Approval: The institution will review the request for a refund and, if everything
is in order, approve the refund.
4. Distribution of Refund: Once approved, the institution will distribute the refund to the
respective parties according to their share of the overpayment.
5. Administrative fees & Miscellaneous expenses: The Administrative Costs and miscellaneous expenses paid by the parties shall not be refundable, under any eventuality.
