DAC Internship Programme: Shaping Future Arbitration Leaders
The Delhi Arbitration Centre (DAC) is delighted to announce the commencement of its highly esteemed DAC Internship Programme. This initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals and imparting practical insights into the world of arbitration and dispute resolution. At DAC, we believe in the twin objectives of expeditious resolution and cost-effectiveness, and our internship programme offers a unique opportunity to explore these principles firsthand.

Internship Duration and Flexibility:
The DAC Internship is designed for a maximum period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension up to 6 months, subject to the prior approval of the Registrar, DAC.
Applicants are encouraged to specify their availability and preferred dates as precisely as possible.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the DAC Internship Programme, applicants should meet the following criteria:
For 5-year law programs: Applicants should be in their 3rd year of study or higher.
For 3-year law programs: Applicants should be in their 2nd year of study or higher.
Law students pursuing LLM or PhD are also eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating a keen interest in, or knowledge of, Arbitration, Mediation, and Conciliation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a DAC intern, you will have the privilege of working under the supervision of the Registrar, DAC. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities, including but not limited to:
Reviewing, commenting on, and drafting documents related to ongoing arbitration cases.
Conducting research to support conferences, presentations, and publications.
Assisting with daily case management tasks, including the analysis of legal submissions.
Undertaking research projects aligned with your interests and background.

Remuneration and Expenses:
Please note that DAC internships are unpaid, and DAC does not cover travel or other related expenses.

Internship Certificate:
Upon successful completion of the internship, interns will receive a certificate from DAC, provided they adhere to the guidelines and maintain regular attendance.

Include the following documents: A concise CV.
A cover letter or statement of interest detailing your objectives and motivation for applying to the DAC Internship Programme.
A Letter of Reference, preferably from your university.

Confidentiality Commitment:
Selected interns are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information they encounter during their internship. Failure to adhere to this commitment may result in disciplinary action, including the termination of the internship, and the intern may be held responsible for any losses incurred due to a breach of confidentiality.
